Understanding the Difference
Ceramic Tiles | Made from natural clay fired at lower temperatures. Softer, lighter, and more economical. Ideal for wall applications and lower-traffic floor areas. Wide range of glazed finishes. |
Porcelain Tiles | Made from refined clay fired at very high temperatures, creating a denser, harder, and more water-resistant tile. Suitable for all floors, walls, wet areas and outdoor applications. |
Full-Body Porcelain | Colour and pattern runs through the entire thickness of the tile, making chips and scratches virtually invisible. Ideal for high-traffic commercial floors. |
Glazed Porcelain | A decorative glaze is applied to the surface, enabling complex patterns, colours and textures not achievable in full-body tiles. The most popular format for residential use. |
